Marktvisie
GreenCat’s TMS concept is based on the execution model, which is defined as optimized support for the execution of transport processes based on proven and modern technology. The execution model consists of 3 central values:

1. Modality Independence: Transport automation cannot be bound to 1 modality, as traditionally has been the case in the TMS industry. Starting point for transportation is the unit that needs to be transported, the goods, which needs to be moved from place A to place B. Whether this should go by road freight or by a combination of road and other modalities is not relevant. It is this principle of modality independence that you will find back in GreenCat’s TMS development.

2. Process driven: The traditional file administration concept is outdated and old-fashioned. Transport orders should not be managed on a file-by-file basis. The key asset is to be able to oversee and monitor the full process. GreenCat’s development concept takes this to heart by putting workflow management and event management in a central position. This way processes can be flexibly set-up and pro-actively monitored.

3. Open architecture (Real time interfacing): Exchanging information in the supply chain is crucial for the wellbeing of the chain. Spurred by todays internet driven economy this information exchange needs to take place in real time. Moreover, the availability of information is being considered a given by all memebers of the supply chain. Real time information exchange has become a Must Have, which GreenCat’s functional and technical architecture natively supports.
